It’s been a long time since Apple is making Macs, MacBooks, and iPads for ‘Pros’ but now we have an iPhone “Pro” which justifies its tag with he brand new display panel, third camera, and the fastest mobile chipset ever made.
So, there are two iPhone 11 Pro, the one being the iPhone 11 Pro with 5.8″ of display and other known as iPhone 11 Pro Max with a 6.5″ of display. Both of them are Super Retina XDR display which is an OLED panel with an impressive 1,200 nits brightness.
Just like the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chip which according to Apple has both the fastest CPU and GPU ever in a smartphone along with an improved machine learning algorithm.
The major upgrade here is the new triple camera setup which gets a new 2-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view along with the wide-angle and telephoto cameras of 12MP. The telephoto camera gets a slight upgrade with a larger ƒ/2.0 aperture, which according to Apple will capture up to 40 percent more light compared to the XS camera.
In the front, there’s a 12MP sensor which can shoot both 4K and slow-motion videos (slofies).
It’s not just the new camera setup which makes this iPhone Pro but it’s also the new camera software which enables you to do a lot.
Just like Android smartphones, iPhone 11 Pro gets a so-called “Dark Mode” to improve low light performance and the feature kicks in automatically when you’re shooting in the dark.
Another thing, which excites us is the video shooting capabilities of this smartphone which Apple says is the best video you can record on a smartphone. Explaining it’s video shooting capability. Apple is calling it the “cinematic videos”.
Apple also showed off a new camera feature called “Deep Fusion” which is going to debuts later this fall through a software update. So it shoots nine images: four short images, four secondary images, and one long exposure. Then, it uses machine learning to combine those nine images into a single final image that promises more detail and less noise.
Another department which saw an upgrade was the battery. Apple claims that the iPhone 11 Pro offers 4 hours longer battery life than the XS, the iPhone 11 Pro Max outlives XS Max by 5 hours. There’s also an 18W Fast Charger which will be included in the box itself but it still uses the old lighting port.
The back is machined from a single piece of glass and it’s now in a matte finish. The rest of the chassis is built out of stainless steel.
Regarding color options, both iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max comes in three colors Midnight-Green, Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.
Talking about the availability and pricing, both the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at $999 (INR 99,000) while the Pro Max will start at $1099 (INR 1,09,000) and both the iPhone’s will be up for preorder on 13th Sep while the stocks will hit the market on 20th Sep.
